Surrey Highways have commenced drainage road works / road closures near to the entry / exit of Cophall Parking, Effingham Road site.
We advise all arriving customers during this period to allow an extra 30 minutes to arrive at Cophall Parking.
Rest assured – there will be full access to Cophall Parking entrance at all times 24/7.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause – this is totally out of our control.
The road closures will be as follows:
Currently & up to 7th December. access to the Cophall car park will be available only from the west and is closed from the east - access only from the west side. Entry from B2028 side will be closed. From M23 to go via / through Copthorne village & turn right at the traffic lights crossroad onto our B2037. (Postcode RH6 9RR will take you to the ‘Traffic Lights’ crossroad – IGNORE the road closed signs, go past them there is still access).

Directions from M23:
- Leave the M23 at J10, stay in the left lane and take 1st exit signed East Grinsted
- Go straight the mini roundabout and straight over the next roundabout
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit signed Lingfield
- At the following roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the B2037
- The Curious Pig Pub will be on your left, the entrance to Cophall Parking will be the turning on your right
Directions from M25/A22:
- Exit the M25 at J6 and take the exit signed Godstone
- Follow the A22 towards East Grinstead and follow this road for 7 miles
- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the B2028
- At the following roundabout, take the 3rd onto the Effingham Road/B2037
- The Curious Pig Pub will be on your left, the entrance to Cophall Parking will be the turning on your right
Arrival instructions
- Drive through the automated barrier and follow signs to the arrival bays
- Park in a bay, head to reception to check in and please bring along with your booking confirmation and flight details
- You will get given a ticket, please keep this safe as you'll need this for your return
- Hop on the transfer bus, which takes just 15 minutes to get to Gatwick
Return instructions
On your return, please call the phone number provided and the transfer will collect you and bring you back to the car park - which will be ready for you to collect, so you can be on your way home as quickly as possible.

If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have paid for, each extra day's parking will be charged at £20 per day (or part day thereof) after your booking return date.
Cophall are unable to accept vans, commercial vehicles or any vehicles over 5.3m long.

Disabled facilities
The reception is wheelchair accessible and mobile steps for easier access onto the transfer bus.
Transfer details
Transfers operate every 15-20 minutes and take just 15 minutes to get to Gatwick.
Transfers run both to South & North Terminal.

Cophall Parking Gatwick is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This means that you can park your car at Cophall any time of day or night, and you can also contact their customer service team 24/7 for assistance.
